Does your website's "call to actions" show up in various browser sizes? Google Labs has a free tool to assist you to "see" what your website looks like in various browser sizes - http://browsersize.googlelabs.com/

As the majority of visitors don't scroll down long pages, it's equally important to ensure that your website "fits" into the various browser sizes out there.

For example, you can see that the map below showing "prodigywebservices.com" will fit to 90+% of browsers - a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels - that's a realistic target to design your website towards. Notice that elements located on the left hand side will get more "visibility"; naturally the eye tends to scan top-to-bottom, left-to-right. With the increasing popularity of internet-ready mobile phones, it may be worthwhile developing mobile-friendly versions of the website so suit lower resolutions and create the best user experience possible.
